Demonstration: 1/2-inch flexible hose with a compression connector. Threaded garden-hose adapters connect differently.
United States: a threaded garden hose commonly uses 3/4-inch GHT. Use a matching GHT adapter and sealing washer.
Europe: many fittings use G3/4 BSP. Match the actual hose fitting; BSP and US GHT are different thread standards.
Hose diameter and thread size describe different parts. Check the adapter supplied with your kit before connecting.
Use a compatible 1/2-inch flexible soft hose only. Do not force it onto a rigid pipe, metal tube or threaded hose end.
With the water off, loosen the locking collar and slide it over the hose, with its opening facing the connector.
Push the hose fully onto the connector, then tighten the collar by hand. Use only the hose size specified for this fitting.
Push the matching quick connector onto the gun until it locks. Gently turn on the water and check for leaks before use.
Adjust: rotate the nozzle to change the spray pattern.
Check: inspect washers and O-rings before use.
Store: turn off the tap, release residual water pressure and drain after use.

This single US kit includes a metal water gun, brass US-spec adapter and nipple-style quick-connect fitting. Match the supplied adapter to your hose end before use. Garden hose, clamps and European adapters are not included. Do not force mismatched threads.
