THE EVERYDAY CHALLENGE
Fog and rain affect glass differently. Understanding the surface makes the difference.
WHEN CONDENSATION BUILDS
Condensation forms fine droplets that scatter light. Hydrophilic spreading helps water form a more even film.
WHEN RAIN CLINGS
A water-repellent surface encourages beading and reduces adhesion, helping droplets move and release.
ANTI-FOG TECHNOLOGY
Hydrophilic chemistry helps condensed water spread. Anchoring and film formation support the glass-care layer.
WATER-REPELLENT TECHNOLOGY
Surface-grafted PDMS forms a hydrophobic layer designed to reduce water adhesion and encourage droplets to bead and release.

Customer care
Notes from everyday glass-care routines.

Bought this for my morning commute. The bottle arrived looking like the pictures and fits in my little cleaning box by the door. I tried it after cleaning the inside glass and noticed less mist the next damp morning.

Useful little spray. Took me a minute to work out how little I needed; my first attempt left a bit to buff off.

Small enough to hold comfortably while sorting out the car. I like having a cap over the pump instead of an exposed nozzle rattling around with my cloths.

Some improvement on morning fog, but not as much as I hoped in really wet weather. Still using the demister as usual.

Does what I wanted for the side glass. A quick clean first made a bigger difference than rushing straight to the spray.

Left it on the bathroom counter to remind myself to try the mirror, after checking the surface instructions. The morning after a shower was easier to wipe clear. Nothing fancy about the bottle, which is fine with me.

The packaging was pretty basic. Product itself is handy, although I would prefer slightly larger print on the directions.

Added it to my garage shelf with the black microfibre cloth I already own. Nice to have the glass-care bits together instead of hunting around before work.

Rain beads up nicely on the glass I treated.

I was worried this would leave a greasy-looking layer. Using a small amount and finishing carefully gave me a clean-looking result.

Smaller bottle than I pictured from the close-up photos, but it is labelled 100 mL. Easy enough to put away.

Kept it on my desk beside the car keys until the weekend so I would actually remember to do the windows. The routine was straightforward once I had a clean cloth ready.

A useful addition to my Sunday car clean. The fine spray is easier for me to control than pouring liquid onto a cloth.

It helped a little on my mirror. I had to go over one patch again because I used too much. For me it is useful rather than a huge change.

The protective cap clicks back on neatly. Small thing, but I appreciate it.

Fits in the grey pouch I use for car-cleaning odds and ends. I wish there was a bigger refill option, though this size is convenient to carry out to the car.

Tried it on a cool, damp Saturday after washing the windows. Water gathered into smaller beads on the outside glass afterwards. Happy with that.

No strong learning curve. Clean, apply carefully, finish.

Got a bottle for my dad because he is always tidying the car. He likes the compact size and has actually kept the cap instead of losing it for once.

Used it on a suitable window at home and left the bottle on the sill while I finished. Glad I checked the glass-care guidance first. The surface looked even after a careful wipe.

Good for my routine, just not something I can rush. A clean cloth and a second look from the side helped me catch a streak.

I bought it mainly for condensation on the inside of the car. I park outside and the first few minutes of an early start can be annoying. The first time I tried this I was in a hurry and had not really cleaned the inside properly. I did it again at the weekend with a fresh cloth and took my time finishing the corners. On the damp mornings since then, the glass has been easier to clear alongside the normal ventilation. It is now a weekend cleaning step for me, not something I try to do while getting ready for work.

The bottle is easy to grip, even with a cloth in the other hand.

The size makes more sense in your hand than in a product photo. I set it on the kitchen table while reading the directions over a coffee, then took it outside to the car. Good little weekend job.

Works best when I take my time with the finish. I would not call it completely streak-proof.

Bought it after another week of damp school runs. It has made the glass-care part of cleaning the car a bit easier to keep up with.

A small bottle that does not take over the shelf.

My bathroom shelf is now its home. The mirror result was decent, but there was still condensation after a long hot shower. I will keep using it, just with more realistic expectations.

The cap was on properly when I opened it. No mess around the bottle, which was my main worry about ordering a spray.

Nice size for occasional use. The label is a little busy, so I read it twice before starting.

I keep the cleaning cloth separate so it stays dry. That seems to make the finishing step much easier.

Used less than I expected.

Put it beside the folded cloth in the laundry area after doing the car glass. I like products I can store in one small spot rather than needing a whole extra kit.

Good overall. Delivery was fairly ordinary, and I had to redo a small corner of the windscreen, but the treated glass looked better afterwards.

I have a tiny cupboard for cleaning things, so 100 mL is a plus for me. The bottle stands up without taking much space.

I wanted a much bigger improvement on my very damp commute. Careful application helped a bit, but I would not buy another bottle for my situation.

The spray format is practical. Much easier to apply a little at a time than the open bottle I used previously.

Took it along in the camper and used the little table to keep the bottle and cloth together while parked. It fits our limited storage. One more small thing that earns its place in the cupboard.

A useful extra step when I clean the windows. Would like a simpler label, but that is a minor gripe.

The blue bottle is easy to find amongst my other cleaning supplies.

I bought this for the outside side windows rather than expecting it to replace anything on the car. Rain is forming beads there now. That is what I wanted.

Straightforward to use after a proper clean.

Held it up in the garage to check the label before using it. It is smaller than the photos made me imagine, although the amount has been fine for my occasional glass jobs.

My partner and I share one bottle. It is easier to leave it with the car cloths than have separate products scattered about.

The spray was fine but the finish took longer than I expected. I had a couple of hazy patches to wipe again.

I was pleasantly surprised by the size. Fits the storage tray I already have.

Rain beading looks good. I still need to clean road dirt off the glass, of course, and that affects how often I bother reapplying.

This was on my weekend shopping list after a run of foggy mornings. Read the instructions at the kitchen table and did the car once the glass was clean. A manageable job, even for someone who does not enjoy car cleaning.

The cap makes it feel less awkward to store with other bits. I keep it upright indoors.

Good addition to the cleaning cupboard.

I like the compact format. A clearer mark for how much is left would be helpful.

Used it on the side windows before a rainy week. It is a modest change, but water seems less inclined to sit as a flat sheet on the glass. I was mainly looking for something easy to add to the clean I already do, rather than a completely different routine. The small bottle worked well for that. I kept checking the finish from the side because I had missed a strip near the edge at first. Once I wiped that properly, I was happy with it. My partner has asked to try it on their car next.

Left it beside the towel on the vanity after doing the mirror. The bottle does not need much room. I appreciate being able to do one small area without setting up loads of equipment.

My first attempt was better once I switched to a fresh cloth. Worth taking that extra minute.

The product is handy; the small print is not my favourite. I took a phone photo of the directions to read them more comfortably.

Bought another for my brother after he tried mine on his car glass.

No fuss with the cap or pump so far.

I keep it with a fabric organiser on the hall bench until I finish cleaning, then put it away. It is easy to carry the bottle and a cloth outside together. Much less of a project than I expected.

It is useful, but I prefer applying it in good daylight. That makes any uneven patches easier to see.

The bottle I received matched the blue one pictured. The compact shape works for my small hands.

I tried a small suitable area first, then finished the rest once I was happy with it. Glad I took that approach.

Not a bad product. I just found the cleaning and finishing steps more fiddly than I wanted for a quick morning job.

Happy enough with the result on my side windows. I would buy a larger size if one were available.

Used it on a grey afternoon with the car parked on the drive. The bottle sat on an old stool while I worked around the glass. Nothing special needed beyond making time to clean first.

Handy size. The cap stays with the bottle in my cleaning box.

I wanted something for the glass rather than another general cleaner. This fits into the routine after the cleaning step without needing much space.

The first pass looked uneven. Going back with a clean part of the cloth sorted it, so I am happy with the result now.

I like that I can put the cap straight back on and store it upright.

Used it after cleaning the car on Sunday. The following rainy trip gave me a chance to see the beading on the side glass. Nice little difference.

The bottle is light enough to carry around while I work.

Now stored in the utility cupboard rather than left in the car. The small size is useful there. Product works for my needs, but the directions could be easier to scan.

I was concerned about leaving residue. Taking a little more care with the wiping step left the glass looking normal, not coated in something obvious.

A practical size for a small household.

I struggled to get an even finish on my mirror and spent longer buffing than I wanted. It may suit someone more patient with the prep, but it was not for me.

Does help with my morning glass routine. I still run the ventilation, and on the wettest days there is only so much I expect from a spray.

A cloth, clean glass and a little patience. That was all my first go needed.

Got it for my husband, then ended up using it myself. I find the small pump easier to handle than a big trigger bottle. We have a narrow shelf for all the cleaning things and larger bottles always seem to end up on the floor. This one fits next to the cloths. I read through the directions before trying a little on suitable glass and was glad I did, because my instinct would have been to use more. The finish was better with less product and a clean part of the cloth. Would get the same size again for the space we have.

Easy to tuck away after use.

Held it over a towel while checking the bottle before doing the bathroom mirror. It feels compact without being fiddly to hold. I prefer this size to leaving a large bottle on the vanity.

Fine for the amount of glass I do. I wish the bottle was easier to see through when checking the remaining liquid.

Applied it on a quiet weekend instead of right before driving. That gave me time to check the finish properly.

Small, simple, useful.

The side glass is easier to wipe down after wet weather now. I keep a clean cloth just for this part of the job.

I like the idea of one small bottle for this glass-care step. It still needs proper surface preparation, which is worth remembering.

My flat has very little storage, so anything this compact is welcome.

Ordered it because condensation was making the first part of my commute a chore. It has been a useful extra alongside the car ventilation, especially after I cleaned the inside glass properly. I usually leave these jobs until the last minute, so this time I set aside half an hour on a Sunday to clean up the glass and get the finish right. The application itself was not difficult. Reaching the lower corners was the awkward bit, as it always is in my car. I still use the demister on damp mornings, but the glass is less of a nuisance than before.

The protective cap has not come loose in the cupboard. Happy about that.

Kept it on the workbench after trying it on the car. The beading was noticeable, but I still had to redo a streak and I am not sure I would use it often enough to repurchase.

A sensible size for trying a new product.

I used a fresh cloth and worked on one pane at a time. Much easier than trying to finish all the glass in one go.

Bought it for our second car. It now lives with the cleaning things indoors so either of us can find it.

The small spray bottle is more convenient than I expected.

I had some doubts about residue, so I checked the glass from a couple of angles after wiping. It looked clear once I had finished.

Nice little addition to a weekend clean.

I do not clean the car every day, so I appreciate that this does not need a lot of equipment or storage space.

Put it by the key dish so I would remember to take it out for the next car clean, then moved it back to the cupboard afterwards. The bottle is genuinely small enough to be convenient.

Easy to apply a small amount without making a mess of the surrounding area.

The finish on the side glass looks good.

My mum wanted something compact for her glass-care cupboard. This was a good fit and the cap makes it straightforward to put away.

I will likely buy it again when this bottle is done. It has become one of those small steps I remember when I already have the cloths out.
